Job Description - Call Center Officer

Job Description:


We are looking for a reliable and resilient Call Center Officer to join our team at Merck in London, England, UK. As a part-time associate level employee with at least 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with their inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities: - Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner - Making outbound calls to follow up on customer requests and provide additional information - Handling customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution - Entering customer information and inquiries into the database accurately - Maintaining a high level of knowledge about products and services to effectively assist customers - Collaborating with colleagues worldwide to provide a seamless customer experience - Meeting and exceeding established performance metrics and goals


Requirements: - 3+ years of experience working in a call center or customer service role - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Persuasion skills to positively influence customer decisions - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office applications - High school diploma or equivalent required
