Job Description - Call Center Specialist

Job Description:


As a Call Center Specialist at PPG Industries in London, England, UK, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls from customers, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving any issues or inquiries effectively and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with clients.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls politely and professionally, addressing customer concerns and providing accurate information. 2. Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries, collect feedback, and promote company products or services. 3. Manage customer accounts, update information, and process orders or returns as needed. 4. Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely manner, escalating to the appropriate department if necessary. 5. Maintain a high level of knowledge about PPG Industries products and services to provide accurate information to customers. 6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues. 7. Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to call volume, call resolution, and customer satisfaction. 8. Document all interactions with customers accurately in the company's CRM system. 9. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge. 10. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a call center or customer service role. 3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 4. Ability to work well under pressure and handle a high volume of calls. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Hardworking and adaptable with a positive attitude. 7. Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and adaptability in challenging situations.
