Job Description - Contact Center Specialist

Job Description:


The Contact Center Specialist at Bank of New York Mellon Corp. in London, England, UK will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional service over the phone, email, and other communication channels. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and possess a customer-centric mindset.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and efficiency. 2. Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their accounts, transactions, and products. 3. Assist customers with account maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. 4. Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services to customers based on their needs and preferences. 5. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 6. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system. 7. Participate in training sessions and continuous education to stay updated on banking regulations and products.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 5. Adaptable and confident personality traits. 6. Leadership and strategic planning soft skills. 7. Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate. 8. Paid overtime and travel & spending expenses provided.
