Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:

Univar, a leading chemical distribution company, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Specialist to join our team in London, England. As an Associate Level position, this role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be confident in their abilities, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions. 2. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and process orders in a timely manner. 3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to customers. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends. 7. Assist with marketing campaigns and promotions.

Requirements: 1. 4+ years of experience in customer service. 2. Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers. 3. Confident and independent work ethic. 4. Soft skills in presentation and persuasion. 5. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 7. Knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
