Job Description - Customer Support Assistant

Job Description:


Markel, a leading insurance company based in London, England, is seeking a part-time Customer Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Associate Level. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in customer service and possess a resilient and energetic personality.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle incoming customer queries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner. 2. Assist customers with policy inquiries, claims processing, and general account maintenance. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and escalations. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system. 5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide feedback to management. 6. Support team members with administrative tasks as needed. 7. Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets set by the company.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. 4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 6. Willingness to work part-time hours with flexibility to cover shifts as needed. 7. Cooperate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
