Job Description - Remote Customer Support Associate

Job Description:


As a Remote Customer Support Associate at Big Lots, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients in a virtual setting. Your primary objective will be to ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their inquiries, resolving any issues, and providing product information in a timely and professional manner.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a courteous and efficient manner. 2. Assist customers with product selection, order processing, and account management. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints or concerns with a focus on finding quick and effective solutions. 4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service delivery. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system. 6. Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to better assist customers. 7. Identify opportunities for improvement in customer service processes and provide feedback to management.


Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks. 4. Resourceful and dedicated mindset to exceed customer expectations. 5. Strong strategic planning skills to anticipate customer needs and provide proactive solutions. 6. Experience in people management to handle difficult customer interactions. 7. High school diploma or equivalent. 8. Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic computer skills. 9. Must have a quiet and professional home office setup for remote work.
