Job Description - Online Call Center Associate

Job description:


Expeditors International of Washington is seeking a dedicated and passionate Online Call Center Associate to join our team in London, England. As a part-time Associate Level employee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online and telephone interactions.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Provide accurate information to customers regarding products, services, and policies. 3. Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving issues or complaints. 4. Conduct research to answer customer inquiries or resolve problems. 5. Maintain a high level of emotional intelligence to effectively communicate with customers and de-escalate potential conflicts. 6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 7. Meet and exceed performance goals related to call volume, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. 8. Utilize various communication channels, such as email and chat, to assist customers.


Requirements: 1. At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role. 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 3. Strong research skills to quickly find information and solutions. 4. High emotional intelligence to empathize with customers and handle difficult situations. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
