Job Description:
Barnes & Noble, a leading bookseller with a strong online presence, is seeking a highly motivated Online Customer Support Officer to join our team in London, England. This part-time position is perfect for entry-level individuals who are looking to gain experience in customer service within a reputable company.
Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner 2. Assist customers with placing orders, handling returns, and resolving issues 3. Provide product recommendations and information about promotions and discounts 4. Monitor customer feedback and escalate any potential issues to the appropriate department 5. Collaborate with other teams, such as Marketing and IT, to improve the online customer experience 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions 7. Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures to provide accurate and consistent support
Requirements: 1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 2. Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers 3. Motivated and confident individuals who are able to work independently and as part of a team 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment 5. Basic computer skills and familiarity with online platforms and tools 6. High school diploma or equivalent 7.
