Online Live Chat Representative

Job Description:

Big Lots is seeking a reliable and driven Online Live Chat Representative to join our team in London, England, UK on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for individuals with at least 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and strong emotional intelligence to effectively engage with customers through online chat.

Responsibilities: - Provide real-time support to customers through online chat, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with product recommendations - Build rapport with customers to ensure a positive and seamless customer experience - Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the online chat platform - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve customer issues in a timely manner - Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers

Requirements: - 4+ years of experience in customer service or a related field - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Emotional intelligence to understand and empathize with customer needs - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in using online chat platforms and customer service software - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
