Job Description - Support Manager

Job Description:


Essendant is seeking a dedicated and reliable Support Manager to join our team in London, England. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the support team, ensuring that all customer inquiries and issues are handled efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and lead a team of support specialists, providing guidance and support as needed. 2. Develop and implement support policies and procedures to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 3. Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 4. Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely and appropriate resolutions. 5. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and make process improvements. 6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer support.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a customer support role, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership position. 2. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations. 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Proven track record of successfully managing a team and meeting performance goals. 5. Knowledge of CRM systems and support software. 6. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
