Job description:
W.W. Grainger is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to join our team in London, England. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. As an Associate Level Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of support staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities: 1. Provide leadership and guidance to support staff, ensuring they meet performance goals and deliver exceptional customer service. 2. Monitor and evaluate team and individual performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary training and development initiatives. 3. Collaborate with other department managers to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency. 4. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 5. Implement and maintain support protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service. 6. Analyze data and generate reports to track key performance metrics and identify trends. 7. Handle escalated customer complaints and work towards a resolution that satisfies both the customer and the company. 8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the support team's effectiveness.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a support management role. 2. Hardworking and reliable with a strong work ethic. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Proven track record of leadership and team management. 5. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual work environment.
