Express Recruitment are delighted to be working for a well-respected local authority who are recruiting for Temporary Part-Time Customer Service Advisors to join their growing team on a temporary basis to support with the workflow.

Within this role you will be working within the busy Customer Service teams of a local authority, ensuring all enquiries and requests are dealt with effectively, providing information and support throughout the local community. The ideal candidate will be committed and people-focussed.

• Ensure customer satisfaction is a service priority
• Provide advice and information to the wider community
• Handle a range of incoming scenarios, with tact and understanding
• Handle incoming telephone and email enquiries, and redirect as necessary
• General clerical tasks as necessary for efficient business workflow

Skills & Experience

• Ability to multitask and adapt to different working environments
• Polite and courteous manner
• Ability to work well under pressure, ensuring consistency and accuracy
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal
