As a psychiatrist you will provide excellent clinical care, assessment and treatment to patients on the case load onsite. You will actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead the senior mental health clinicians on service developments and provide clinical supervision. You will work within the multi-disciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and engage in multi professional complex case reviews.
What you'll be doing
You will be a registered professional with current registration (GMC) with a s pecialist registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry. You will also have an understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, and up to date knowledge in the adult psychiatry and PD.

HM Prison Thameside is a local category B resettlement prison in the Thamesmead area of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, South-East London and is situated next to HMP Belmarsh. HMP Thameside is London’s only private prison and can currently hold 1232convicted and remand male prisoners.
