Job Description - Health, Safety & Facilities Officer - Part-Time

About the role Audit Wales is looking to recruit a Fixed Term Part Time Senior Health, Safety and Facilities Officer. This role is for 25 hours per week initially on a 6-month basis. Do you have a strong knowledge of Health and Safety; Can you be an organisational lead for Health and Safety? Would you like a new challenge?
Yes? Then we have an exciting opportunity to become our Senior Health, Safety and Facilities Officer. Health and Safety is embedded in the way Audit Wales works, across our three main office locations around Wales, Cardiff, Penllergaer and Llandudno Junction our hybrid approach to working, when working at client sites and when individuals are undertaking lone working. The role includes supporting our estates strategy and asset management, supporting and participating in health and safety and facilities related projects, developing relevant policies and guidance and oversight of our planned preventative maintenance and duty of care obligations. You will work within a small multidisciplinary team, focused on service delivery, supporting staff across Wales. Due to the nature of the role some travel across Wales is required, for which you will be reimbursed. The role also requires an element of manual handling, for which we provide training. The role is based within our Cardiff Office; but please note, Audit Wales has a hybrid approach to working, where some days will be in our office and there is an option to spend some days at home.
