Job Description - Human Resources Generalist - Part-Time

HR Generalist (Part-time)

Location: Loughton, Essex

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 (dependant on experience and prorated)

Are you a skilled HR professional looking for a part-time opportunity to make a difference in the employee experience? We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our client's growing organisation in the financial sector. With a focus on serving owner-managed businesses and their entrepreneur owners, our client strives to deliver excellence in their services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR Manager in a generalist capacity, contributing to the full employee life cycle
  • Support recruitment processes, including managing the recruitment in-box, liaising with agencies, advertising, and conducting initial interviews
  • Collaborate on the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures, providing guidance to staff and managers
  • Offer support and guidance to staff on family-friendly matters and assist in related paperwork
  • Participate in the annual performance management programme
  • Contribute to various HR projects as required
  • Coordinate staff induction processes and effectively manage the probation period

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CIPD level 3 qualification or higher
  • Good knowledge of employment law
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and the MS Office Suite
