Remote Pr Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Remote PR Associate to join our team at Ameriprise Financial in London, England, UK. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the reputation of Ameriprise Financial - Manage media relations, including pitching stories, writing press releases, and coordinating interviews - Monitor and analyze media coverage to measure the success of PR efforts - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels - Assist with crisis communication efforts, including drafting statements and coordinating responses - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists, influencers, and industry experts - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR to proactively identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in public relations or a related field - Resourceful and confident with excellent decision-making skills - Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant PR tools and software
