Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: Part-time (mornings or flexible pattern)
Contract Type: Ongoing / Temp-to-Perm
Pay: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Abingdon is seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs on a part-time basis.

• Supporting a child with SEND on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage in class activities

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored strategies

• Using your patience and empathy to help the pupil develop social and emotional confidence

• Creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning and inclusion

• Experience supporting children in a school or care setting

• Calm, flexible and proactive approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
