Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable young people to succeed in a nurturing, inclusive setting?

We're working with a national network of independent schools offering alternative education for students with EHCPs who cannot access mainstream settings. The school we are working with are now seeking a compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support engagement, development, and wellbeing.

• Providing 1:1 support to a student with an EHCP, helping them access learning and regulate emotions

• Supporting the teacher with daily routines, activities, and behaviour strategies

• Building positive, trusting relationships with students, staff and families

• Helping create a safe, structured learning environment that nurtures progress

• Contributing to pupil reports, goal setting, and classroom planning

• Supporting with personal development, including communication and independence skills

• Acting as a role model and championing a positive ethos across the school

• £21,324 - £23,896 per year

• GCSEs (grade C/4 or above) in English & Maths (or equivalent)

• Experience supporting students in an education or care setting

• Understanding of SEN, behaviour needs or alternative provision
