A Level Chemistry Lecturer (Part-Time)
Location: Hackney
Rate: £28 – £30 per hour
Hours: 2 days per week
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic A Level Chemistry Lecturer to teach AS & A2 Chemistry and Biology on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting post-16 learners in their academic progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in A Level Chemistry and Biology (AS & A2)
• Prepare engaging and relevant teaching materials to meet the needs of a diverse student body
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovation in teaching and learning
• Follow all processes related to qualifications and examinations, including student registration, liaison with the Exams Officer, and external moderators/verifiers
• Support students' academic and personal development through effective teaching and feedback

Person Specification:

• Degree with a Biology or Chemistry component (essential)
• Proven experience in delivering successful and innovative A Level Biology and Chemistry lessons
• Understanding of effective teaching strategies and ability to evaluate and adapt methods
• Ability to teach and support a wide range of students across different age groups
• An ability to offer other related science subjects will be considered an advantage
