Accountancy Practice Senior Manager

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively working with a top tier-chartered accountancy practice based in Maidstone who are looking for an Accountancy Practice Senior Manager to join their team.

This position will sit within the business services team and will be primarily focused on general practice services to a broad range of OMB businesses, from start up size, through to multimillion pound groups, covering statutory accounts and tax work, as well as well as the opportunity to oversee some management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT work.

As an Accountancy Practice Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership team, shaping the future of the practice. You will work closely with the Partners to manage a portfolio of clients, develop new business opportunities, and lead a team of dedicated professionals. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Client Management: Overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and building long-term relationships.
  
• Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of accountants, ensuring high performance and staff engagement.
  
• Strategic Development: Supporting the Partners in shaping the strategic direction of the practice, driving growth, and identifying opportunities for innovation.
  
• Technical Expertise: Providing high-level technical advice to clients, including complex accounting, tax planning, and business advisory services.
  
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal quality standards across the firm.
  
• Business Development: Playing an active role in winning new business, representing the firm at networking events, and identifying potential opportunities to expand the client base.
  

Accountancy Practice Senior Manager - Maidstone - £65,000 - £75,000

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following:

• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  
• Significant experience in an accountancy practice environment, with proven success in client management and team leadership
  
• Strong technical knowledge across accounting, tax, and business advisory disciplines
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others
