Accountant

What will the Accountant role involve?

• Preparing accounts for small businesses, sole traders, and partnerships
• Managing VAT returns and bookkeeping for a range of clients
• Preparing tax returns and assisting with tax compliance
• Liaising directly with clients to provide advice and resolve queries
• Using cloud-based accounting systems (such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage)

Suitable Candidate for the Accountant vacancy:

• AAT / ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Hands-on approach with excellent client communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a small team
• Proficient in cloud-based software and Microsoft Office
