Accountant - SME Focus

Are you an experienced accountant looking to work with a dynamic, forward-thinking firm that’s transforming the SME accounting space? One of our clients, a rapidly growing, tech enabled accounting firm is on the lookout for a talented individual to join their team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing accounts for small and medium sized limited companies and LLPs from trial balances and manual records.
• Producing industry specific accounts.
• Drafting insightful notes for client meetings on accounting and tax matters.
• Engaging directly with clients to resolve queries and offer strategic recommendations.
• Preparing management accounts and cash flow forecasts

What We're Looking For:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
• Experience with IRIS accounts production (a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Sage, Xero, and other bookkeeping tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Comfortable with complex reconciliations (CIS, VAT).
• A driving license is helpful but not essential.
