Part Time Accounting Technician/ Assistant Accountant- Holywood

Reed Recruitment are delighted to be working with a local NI company based in Holywood. Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Accounting Technician/ Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis.

This role is offering 24 hours per week, and flexibility can be offered regarding working hours.

This is a stand-alone accounting role and so the successful applicant must be competent and confident in month-end processes, as well as general transactional accounting duties.

Responsibilities:

• Month-end procedures
• Cash flow and forecasting
• VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly invoice processing
• Credit control duties
• General accounting administration

Essential Criteria

• Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant level candidate
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar role
• IT Proficient (experience in Sage 50 would be beneficial but not essential)

• Competitive starting salary of £32,000- £36,000 per annum pro rata
