Accounts Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client, an Engineering company in Grimsby. This is a temporary position working 3 days per week (Mondays and Fridays plus 1 other day).

Purpose of The Accounts Assistant Role:

The purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day accounting.

Accounts AssistantResponsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Bank reconciliation
• Raise sales invoices
• Oversee direct debit accounts
• Process purchase invoices

• Processing all bank payments
• Entering weekly hours ready for payroll
• Paying creditors
• Booking travel arrangements

The Perfect Accounts Assistantwill be:

• Experienced in using SAGE
• AAT qualified
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to effectively communicate information
• Organised and efficient with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet key deadlines
• Proactive attitude
