Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Three Bridges Recruitment are currently working with a forward thinking company who are based in Edinburgh. This company are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a part time 22.5 hour week to join their team and hit the ground running. Therefore, this role would ideally suit an individual that has been working within a finance function for a few years and are looking to make the next step in their career.

The Job

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Ensure payment of invoices, and deal with payment disputes
• Taking accounts to trials balance stage
• Purchase invoice preparation
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Report to other teams with project budgets
• VAT returns
• Yearly accounts audit
• Processing staff expenses and monthly credit card statements
• Inputting bank statements
• Monthly inter-company invoicing and inter-company loans

You

The role of Accounts Assistant will require an individual with:

• Financial processes experience
• Familiarity with Sage is advantageous
• Strong Excel abilities
• Pro-active approach to working and thriving in a busy environment
• Able to communicate at all levels within an organisation
