Accounts Assistant - part time

Your new company
Hays are working exclusively with a growing business in Shrewsbury who are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their team in Shrewsbury, working 15-20 hours per week.

Your new role
You will be working closely with the Accountant and will assist with the following duties:

• Purchase ledger - Processing invoices, resolving queries, reconciling statements
• Sales Ledger - Post and allocate cash, invoices and credit notes
• Credit Control - chasing outstanding debts
• Longer term, you may also start to assist with month end

What you'll need to succeed
You should be an experienced Accounts Assistant who has good IT skills and is flexible and adaptable. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential.
