Accounts Manager

The ONE Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a young and fast-growing business based in Peterborough, in their search for a part time Accounts Manager.

They are looking for someone who is happy to commit to 25- 30 hours a week and be present in the office. If your core hours are complete, start and finish time can be flexible.

You will take on the day-to-day responsibilities for the company's accounting records and look after two small business within the group.

Reporting into the Company Directors and managing the full accounting function, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Duties

• Overseeing and developing company accounting and control processes.
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Producing the management account packs
• Reconciliation of the bank & statements.
• Accruals and prepayments
• Journals and depreciations
• Allocating payments & supplier payments
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing and presenting financial data
• Monthly payroll

Qualifications

• AAT Qualified or equivalent
• Experience working in an SME and being involved in multiple tasks
• Experience of Xero
• A solid understanding of Excel

The role offers a salary of up to £43,000 per annum, depending on experience. This will be pro-rated based on the number of hours you work each week.
