Locum Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer – 3- 6 months + - Predominantly Remote Working – Part Time – Up to £60 per hour – East Anglia

Position: Locum Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer

Organisation: East Anglia based Local Authority

Duration: 3-6 months +

Working Pattern: Part time 

Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, very occasional need for Court attendance may be required

Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of Adult Social Care matters.

Duties may include:

•             Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, Section 16 and Designation matters

•             Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives

•             To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters

•             Management of around 3-5 people

•             Represent the Council in court and may need to conduct advocacy when required
