ASD Learning Support Assistant

Location: Lambeth, South East London
Salary: £100 - £120 per day
Contract: Temporary / Full-time / Term-time

Remedy Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated and caring ASD Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school based in Lambeth. This is a brilliant opportunity to work with children who have a range of special educational needs, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing every day.

• Provide tailored support to pupils with ASD, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skills

• Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities and behaviour management strategies

• Support pupils' communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation in a safe and nurturing environment

• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and contribute to pupil progress monitoring

• Promote independence and confidence in all pupils

• Experience working with children with ASD or other SEN needs (ideally in a school setting)

• Understanding of ASD and related communication and behavioural needs

• Patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
