Job Description - Aspiring Educational Psychologist

Are you an Aspiring Educational Psychologist?

Are you a Psychology and Criminology graduate with a passion for working with children and young people with SEN? Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated graduate to join a dedicated and compassionate team in Bedford as an Aspiring Educational Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity in the education and training sector for someone with a background in psychology and criminology to take the next step in their career, gaining valuable experience in the field of Educational Psychology, particularly focusing on Special Educational Needs in Bedford schools and communities.

Location: Bedford

Weekly Pay: £460 - £500

Sector: Education and Training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to children with a variety of SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with educational staff, families, and other professionals in Bedford to create tailored strategies and interventions for children with SEN.
  • Contribute to assessments and reviews, supporting the design and delivery of personalised learning plans for children.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the psychological, social, and emotional needs of children with SEN.

Who we're looking for:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Psychology and Criminology, ideally with experience or interest in SEN.
  • Passionate about helping children with additional needs and supporting their educational journey as an Aspiring Educational Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children in any capacity (either professionally or personally) would be an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • An eagerness to learn and grow within the field of Educational Psychology.
