Assistant Accountant - 20 hours

We are delighted to be working with a dynamic and global organisation committed to excellence in financial management and reporting. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join the management accounting team.

This role is a temporary to permanent vacancy.

Your new role

The role involves producing monthly accounts for overhead cost centres, assisting in budget and forecast preparation, and managing company-paid credit cards. Key responsibilities include:
Reconciliation and processing of prepayments, accruals, and standard charges
Balance sheet and intercompany account reconciliations
Quarterly VAT returns and national statistics returns
Assisting with statutory accounts, tax packs, and PSA submissions
Managing fixed asset control accounts and capital approval processes

What you'll need to succeed

High volume, fast-paced environment.

Previous experience with:
Management accounts
Budget & ForecastingMultisite transactions
Cost analysis
Multi-currency
