Assistant Cook

🍽️ Assistant Cook – Join Our Nursery Team!

We’re looking for 2 committed and enthusiastic Assistant Cooks  to work along side our cooks at our Titchfield  and Sholing settings. You will become a valued member of our nursery kitchen team.  In this hands-on role, you’ll support our Nursery Cook with daily meal preparation and step in to lead when needed—ensuring our little ones enjoy nutritious, delicious meals every day.

👩‍🍳 What We’re Looking For:

We’d love to hear from candidates who bring:

• Experience working in a busy school or nursery kitchen


• Solid understanding of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations


• Familiarity with food allergens and COSHH guidelines


• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• A team spirit with the ability to work independently


• A positive, reliable, and trustworthy attitude


• Flexibility in managing daily tasks and prioritizing workloads


• A friendly rapport with children and a nurturing approach

📋 Role Details:

• Hours: Part-time 20hrs week, 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday 10-2pm


• Salary: Starting at £12,719.20


• 2 positions available  1 at each of our Titchfield and Sholing settings.
