Assistant Fund Financial Reporting Manager

Our client, a leading Invesment Managermer, is seeking an Assistant Fund Financial Reporting Manager on a fixed-term contract basis until the end of 2025. This can be a fully remote role from anywhere in the UK. The successful candidate will report directly to the Fund Financial Reporting Manager, playing a vital role in the delivery of comprehensive fund financial reporting across all funds. Immediate availability is required as we aim to move quickly to interview and onboard.

• Help manage and develop the financial reporting team.
• Assist with the preparation and completion of statutory financial statements, solvency statements, liquidation reports, and corporation tax returns.
• Oversee the planning of workload, including timetables and issue logs.
• Manage the audit process and liaise for financial statement approval.
• Support the implementation of technical accounting and regulatory changes impacting fund accounting.
• Provide taxation support and manage relationships with external partners.
• Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Management Information (MI) across financial reporting and taxation.
• Ensure accuracy in year-end adjustments and manage offshore funds.
• Lead the maintenance and updating of procedures for fund financial reporting and taxation.
• Provide input for strategic enhancements within the team.

• Relevant experience in Fund or Investment Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of UK Funds financial reporting (IA SORP) and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience with fund-specific income reporting, including Excess Reportable Income (ERI) and fund distributions.
• Proficiency in administration and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and creative analytical skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
