Assistant Management Accountant

As Assistant Management Accountant, you will…

• Support day-to-day finance operations, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts, reporting, and reconciliations
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining strong financial controls and compliance
• Work alongside senior finance stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Help improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and insight
• Monitor cash flow and working capital, supporting initiatives to optimise financial performance
• Liaise with external auditors and advisors as required
• Provide guidance to junior team members, promoting accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

To succeed as Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll need…

• Experience in a management accounting or similar finance role, ideally within professional services or a project-based environment
• Solid technical knowledge of management accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to adapt in a changing environment
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. SAP, Dynamics, or similar) and strong Excel skills
