GSL Education is working closely with a fantastic SEN school in Lincoln to recruit a dedicated Autism Student Support Worker to join their team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is driven by making a genuine difference to the lives of young learners.

The Role:
As an Autism Student Support Worker, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• Use strategies such as PECs, visual timetables, and sensory activities to aid communication and engagement

• Promote independence, self-regulation, and emotional wellbeing

• Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support plans

• Create a calm, structured, and predictable learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience supporting individuals with Autism is highly desirable

• A patient, calm, and consistent approach

• Understanding of ASC and associated communication or sensory needs

• A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
