Location: North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT)
Pay Rate: £20 - £24 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement
Contract Duration: 24/03/2025 - 25/04/2025

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a community-based role at NELFT. The successful candidate will work across various community settings, providing patient-centered care and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions for patients in the community.

  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to support the rehabilitation and recovery of patients.

  • Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet individual needs.

  • Provide advice and education to patients, families, and carers.

  • Manage a caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.

Key Requirements
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Proven experience in community-based occupational therapy.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in managing complex caseloads (desirable).
