Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with acute NHS experience in general medicine to join our team at Milton Keynes University Hospital. The successful candidate will support frailty services and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in the general medicine and frailty units

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and timely discharge planning

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Facilitate rehabilitation to improve patients' functional abilities and promote independence

• Work in both ward-based settings, focusing on acute care and patient safety

Key Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

• Experience in acute NHS settings, specifically in general medicine, frailty, and discharge planning

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
