Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist with a specialist background in neurology to join our dynamic Neuro OT team. You will work with a neuro and neuro-cardiac patient cohort, providing timely assessments, implementing treatment programmes, and supporting discharge planning.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Undertake comprehensive neuro assessments, including cognitive and perceptual evaluations

• Plan and deliver personalised rehabilitation and functional re-training

• Work closely with the MDT on complex discharges and rehab plans

• Provide input into specialist seating needs

• Support patients within the ICU setting where required

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

• Proven experience in neurology with specialist neuro skills

• Expertise in cognitive and perceptual assessment, functional rehab, and discharge planning

• Knowledge of specialist seating and experience in intensive care (desirable)
