Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the MOPS team at Whiston Hospital. This role involves providing specialized physiotherapy services to patients in medical, orthopaedic, and post-surgical wards, helping them achieve optimal recovery and regain independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy interventions for patients in the MOPS pathway

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care

• Implement evidence-based treatments to support recovery and rehabilitation

• Contribute to discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care

• Supervise and mentor junior staff and students as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Physiotherapy with HCPC registration

• Proven experience in acute hospital settings, ideally within medical, orthopaedic, or surgical specialties

• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice
