Join Our Team as a Café Assistant – Goldman Sachs (London)
We Offer:
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday (No weekends!)
Contract Type: Part-time - Fully Flexible (Monday to Friday)
About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, dedicated Café Assistant to join our hospitality team based at Goldman Sachs. You’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Take customer orders and serve food and beverages with a smile
Ensure a high standard of customer experience at all times
Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene standards
Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming café atmosphere
What We’re Looking For:
While previous experience isn’t required (we provide full training), we are looking for someone who is:
Warm, friendly, and customer-focused
Enthusiastic about delivering high standards of service
A team player with a positive attitude
Reliable, flexible, and punctual

Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Flexible availability – able to work Monday to Friday shifts
Basic understanding of English (verbal and written)

Physically able to stand for extended periods and carry light trays or equipment
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to follow food hygiene and safety procedures
Skills Needed:
Excellent customer service – friendly, approachable, and courteous
Teamwork – able to collaborate effectively with colleagues
Communication skills – confident in interacting with customers and team members
Attention to detail – especially when handling food and drink orders
Time management – able to handle a fast-paced environment efficiently
