Position Summary:
This Bookkeeping role within an established firm of Chartered Accountants involves managing a selection of clients and handling a variety of essential finance tasks, such as:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping duties using systems like Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero – processing records up to the trial balance stage
• Producing monthly financial overviews
• Completing and filing VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Handling client enquiries and working collaboratively with senior team members and accountants

Ideal Candidate Profile:
To be successful in this position, you will likely offer:

• Solid knowledge of VAT rules and double-entry accounting, ideally gained in a practice or professional setting
• A proactive, flexible mindset with excellent organisational and time management capabilities
• The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, along with strong communication skills for client interactions
