The Opportunity

Whether you’re returning to work after a break, balancing family commitments, or simply seeking more flexibility, this role is ideal for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or finalist looking to make a meaningful impact in a part-time position.

Working closely with our CFO and Finance Assistant, you'll oversee core finance operations, ensure compliance, and support broader financial planning and analysis. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly shape business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC obligations
• Liaise with external accountants during year-end processes
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls

What We're Looking For

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficient in Xero accounting software
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
