Bookkeeper - Part Time

 Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accounts assistant.

Leeds, UK on site

£14 - £18 per hour (depending on experience)

15-25 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the Managing Director. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours and a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software ( Sage)

• Process invoices, receipts, and payments

• Reconcile bank statements.

• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings

• Support payroll processing and pension contributions

• Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role

• Proficiency in accounting software Sage preferred (SAP)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Knowledge of UK accounting standards and VAT regulations

• AAT qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Desirable:

• Strong Excel skills
