Bowls Steward – Part Time

This is a temporary opportunity working during the indoor seasonal period from September through to approx January/February.

This role is based at Maldon, Essex, CM9 8HX

About the Bowls Steward role;

We are looking for an experienced Bowler, with a passion and interest in Bowling to join the Five Lakes team as one of our Bowls Stewards.

This role will support our Bowls Manager with facilitating the Bowls Tournaments that we will be running for our Guests on Resort.

 Skills & Role Outline;

• Experience of playing Bowls and knowledge of the game (essential)
• Umpiring and recording scores – previous experience advantageous
• Running tournaments
• Calling in local players to make up numbers
• Coaching beginners’ lessons
• General bowls related duties day to day

Hours of work:

• The hours are 9am - 17.30pm. Two days per week - Monday to Thursday. Additional hours and days may be required due to staff sickness.  Flexibility with your availability is extremely important as some shifts will be requested at short notice to cover sickness / holiday and on occasion, you may be required to work until 7pm.
