Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker based in Bromhamfor one of our clients on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities of theBridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

• Working on various bespoke bridal gown projects.
• Reading and cutting out patterns.
• Trimming and sewing items.
• Hand sewing delicate items and applying couture techniques.
• Sewing corsetry and structure into gowns.
• Making adjustments to gowns for finishing touches.

Requirements for a successful Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

• Excellent hand sewing and machine sewing skills.
• Experience in pattern cutting and reading.
• Extensive bridal wear experience including working with corsetry, structure, garment construction, patterns and fit.
• Confident handling and working with luxury fabrics and completing couture techniques such as lace appliqué, draping and embroidery.

Salary: £18.50 per hour
Location: Bromham, Bedfordshire
Type of Contract: Contract
Hours: Part time, 9:30am - 4:30pm 2-3 days a week
