Business Analyst - part time contract

Business Analyst feeding into the legal sector on a part - time (2.5 days a week) 30 day outside IR35 project. 25% of the work is expected to be taken on-site in London.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in agile environments.
- Proven track record in AI or automation projects, ideally in regulated industries.
- Experience in legal, insurance, or financial services sectors is highly desirable.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Experience with agile project management tools
- Experience of using Jira
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with AI and automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Automate).

Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently as the sole BA while collaborating effectively within a team.
- High attention to detail, especially for complex processes and compliance requirements.

Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of business processes in regulated industries (e.g., legal, insurance, financial services).
- Knowledge of data protection and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR).
- Familiarity with the challenges of billable industries, such as reducing unbillable time.
