Care Home Cleaner

DBS Required

We are currently recruiting dedicated and reliable Cleaners for a well-respected care home. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for elderly residents.

Positions available:

• Full-Time

• Part-Time

• Temporary (with potential for ongoing work)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning duties including bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, kitchens, and offices

• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the home

• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively in line with COSHH guidelines

• Report any maintenance or health & safety concerns to management

• Follow infection control procedures at all times

• Work closely with other staff to ensure residents' comfort and dignity are prioritised

Essential Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience (ideally in a care home, hospital, or similar environment)

• Good understanding of infection control and hygiene standards

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Friendly, respectful, and professional attitude

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
