Care Professional

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and comfortably within their own homes. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly and caring to make a difference to our clients' lives. This is a full-time or part-time vacancy working between 7am - 10pm including alternate weekends visiting clients in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge.

You will visit the same regular clients each week so you can really get to know each other and make a meaningful connection. When you have an initial call with a client who is new to you, you will have accompanied and introduced to them by a colleague who knows them well, so you can really get to know every client and their needs.

At Home Instead, we know that 15 or 30 minute calls aren't long enough for you to offer exceptional care. That's why we have minimum 1-hour visits to ensure you can take your time with your clients.

Please note to be eligible to apply for this vacancy, you must live within the East Cheshire region.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to visit your regular clients and offer support according to their care plan and their wishes.
• Foster companionship and provide emotional support to clients, promoting a sense of wellbeing.
• Support with making meals and keeping the home clean and tidy.
• Allow clients to maintain their dignity whilst assisting them with personal care tasks such as getting dressed, for those who require your assistance.

Requirements:

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent, dependable service.
• Must have a caring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
• Must have a valid driving licence and have your own dependable transport.
• UK residency is essential, and we cannot provide working visas.
• Must have good working flexibility including alternate weekends.
• Must live in or near Wilmslow/Alderley Edge - nearby areas include Macclesfield, Handforth, Wythenshawe.
