Location: Ramsgate
Salary: £16,000 per annum DOE based on working 3 days (self-employment will also be considered)

Hours: Part-time hours, 3 days per week however, the client can be flexible - Term time only
Contract: Permanent

Our client is looking for a dedicated Careers Advisor to join their team and make a real difference in young people’s lives.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Providing one-to-one and group career advice sessions
• Supporting individuals with CV writing, interview prep, and job applications
• Guiding students through career planning
• Building strong relationships with employers, training providers, and education partners
• Staying up to date with labour market trends and opportunities
• Promote diversity, impartiality, and equality
• Safety and safeguarding are an automatic part of the service at every stage of engagement

Person specification:

• Experience in career guidance, recruitment, education or coaching
• Level 6 qualification in Careers Advice & Guidance however candidates without the qualifications will also be considered
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic, motivational and results-driven approach
• A real passion for helping others reach their potential
