Pay Rate: £12.21 - £13 per hour

We are currently seeking a Caretaker/Cleaner to join a well-established team on a temporary basis in Southend, Essex. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment, and is keen to contribute to a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance within the facility.

• General cleaning duties, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

• Ensuring that the premises are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

• Assisting with basic maintenance and minor repairs when required.

• Ensuring all health and safety standards are met and maintained.

• Providing a helpful and professional service to staff and visitors.

• Assisting with any other caretaking duties as required.

• Enhanced DBS check (mandatory).

• Previous experience in cleaning or caretaking roles is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
